I really like the Jet Li movie "The One". The concept isn't very original, but for some reason, I like the movie better than the others like it. I love the ending where the evil version is sent to a prison planet, and the first thing he does is take on a good portion of the prisoners. And the best part of it is as they're panning out, he's holding his own, and you can see all the prisoners rushing up the hill in a brutal version of King of the Hill.

A movie that still freaks me out to this day is "Event Horizon". I don't know why it is, but the idea that a starship could accidently rift to Hell and then come back gives me the creeps. In all honesty, I believe in some of the crazy scientific ideas of multiple dimensions separated by different vibratory patterns. If these ideas are proven true, it wouldn't be too difficult to enter another dimension that way.

OK, going back to all the movies u guys talked about that I have seen: (hope I get them all ^.^") Serenity - AWESOME, own it & seen it 100 times or more ;D V for Vendetta - Really well done, had a hard time watching it the first time, but I've seen it a few times since then. Davinci Code- Had a lot of great historical facts in it, really enjoyed the mystery of the search. UltraViolet- I liked it. But, then again, I also liked the comic. BloodRayne - I liked it, we own it (it also comes with a PC version of the game ^.^) Aeon Flux - Very good movie. I also own the collectors edition of the series. For me it made sense because it reflects the political & social issues of today - like the series did at the time it was made. Superman Returns - Only seen it once. Thought it was OK. X-Men 3- Excellent, can't wait for the next one ;D 300 - Fantastic movie. The One - Enjoyed it very much. Although similar in style to other movies, I still found it unique & refreshing in it's own way. I also like Jet Li as an actor.

Saw it in the theater when it was first released-like 25 years ago. Loved it and have seen it many times since.

Howl's Moving Castle... /thumps up. Is a vastly more creative film then anything US movie producures have come up with in years. It's a story of a young lady Cursed into old age. The crux of the curse is she can not talk about the curse. She meets up with a wizard and breaks his curse in the process of removing he own curse. Very fun movie.

Howl's was a cool movie. It used to rent all the time at my last video store job. It was pg or G so we used to play it in the store to. I also like Princess Mononikie a lot.

I LOVE[/I] all of Hayao Miyazaki's films ^.^
I own : Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky (Laputa), Nausicaa-of the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro.
That means that I still have a few to go ^.^ - I only don't want My Neighbors the Yamadas (didn't have the same Miyazaki flare).
