I liked Scott as Archer. Mom likes that series as well.

Scott Bakula was quite good, and there were certainly things about the series that I thought were great even if it was a bit different, but it certainly tied into the theme of Trek in general... ...apart from that, I voted for Trip because he's gorgeous

Hoshi was an interesting character and quite funny when trying to translate. The first meeting with the Klingon with the warrior yelling and Hoshi deciphering or at least trying.

Yes, Hoshi was a great character who unfortunately didn't get developed very well. I had to roll my eyes when she "suddenly" turned out to be a Tai-kwon-do master or something!

Yes, I did think that while an exceptionally talented comm officer would be necessary for such a mission into the unknown, the fact that she was also a Jack of Far Too Many Trades made her somewhat irritating. Scrap that, I meant horrendously irritating.

I also remembered that in one of the early episodes, she was jumped from behind by some aliens in a spaceport and had to be rescued by Archer. I guess she just forgot she could break someone's arm without really trying!

Hold up, we all know how shaky early episodes (particularly pilots) can be. Plus, she might have just been afraid (although that doesn't really fit her character either, I'll admit).

That's so. Female characters seem to especially prone to suddenly forgetting that they are world-class fighters if the story calls for them to be rescued.

We should have seen more of Phlox. He was a /great/ character, and thewhole "cheerful alien" thing payed off this time, as opposed to the horror that was Mr Neelix.

I liked that cheek-to-cheek grin he sometimes flashed.

No, he was far too irritating. But Phlox's grin was awesome, for sure, as was his tongue. And overall friendliness =D
Plus, my new drama teacher looks kinda like John Billingsley o.O

It's hard to say for me who is my favorite Enterprise character. I like Archer , Reed, Phlox, and Hoshi Sato better than the others. T'Pol could have been better, Trip was OK, and Mayweather was more often in the background. I vote for the Captains dog Porthoes! ;D
