I have to admit when I watch the Magnificent Seven, I don't pay that much attention to the plot! It's all those scrumptious GUYS!  |

I didn't know that, thanks! Apparently they were in a hurry to meet the deadline for a Screen Actors Guild strike later that summer. John Sturgis offered the part to Robert Vaughn because he (Vaughn that is) had won a nomination for best supporting actor in a movie called "The Young Philadelphians". When he agreed, the director said, Great! Er... you know any more young actors? We've got four more parts to fill! (And Vaughn suggested James Coburn, who he'd known from college. You know it's kind of strange to realize that Coburn basically owes his movie career to a happenstance like that!) |

Ooh that's kind of tough. But if I had to pick only one, it would have to be Chris (Yul Brynner). He's just so.... mmmmmmmmm! If it were a starship, he'd definitely be the Captain!
Sounds like a good idea for a Poll to me (but I don't know the names of all seven of them).

I don't know if I can name them all either! There's Chris (Yul Brynner), Vin (Steve McQueen), Lee (Robert Vaughn), Britt (James Coburn), the Kid (Horst Buchholz), and I can't remember the other two.

John Candy? I just saw one recently called "The Great Outdoors" or something like that. Dany Akyroyd was in it too.
