Message Board Rules

I want this message board to be a lot of fun for everyone, so I will keep the rules simple.

1. Be polite to everyone, name calling and rudeness will get you a PM from a moderator; banned from the MB for 1 week the second time, banned for 1 year the third time.
2. Please dont break up a large post into many smaller ones in an effort to raise your post count. *

* - If you forget to add something, or think of something after you've already posted, you can 'modify' you're post to include what you wanted to add to it. Modifing will avoid getting you tagged for spamming, especially if you post multiple 'one line' posts in the same thread within a 10 minute period. The first offence of spamming will result in a PM warning, the second offense will reduce your gold by 50 and the reduction of your post count by the number of spam posts.

When a Moderator feels a member has broken a rule of this message board they will send the member a private message and add a Warning Meter. The Warning Meter has a %, depending on how bad the rules were broken. The Warning Meter can ONLY be seen by the member being warned and the Moderators of Starbase 242. As long as the member being warned does'nt break the rules, the warning meter will be removed in a few days.

Due to the large multitude of SPAMMERS recently, I have enabled the following;

Guests Must Login: If enabled, visitors to your forum will be forced to login or register before gaining access to your forum.

Rule #3 - No Spamming

Spamming, posting the same post in multiple threads, or a single message divided into multiple posts, will result in a warning on the first offense, loss of 25 posts on the second offense, and the third offense will result in the loss of 50 posts and banned from message board for 1 month.
