Very geometric ^..^ I like the "order" it brings to the chaos of their universe.

But anyways, DS9 had sooo much more stability because it was a station & not a ship. It allowed more story buildup between characters and a wider range of return characters. I loved the fact that Bajor was a major part of the show (even if having Sisko as the Emissary got a bit much at the end). With Bajor, the wormhole, and the Gamma Quadrant, it gave the show the exploration, with a larger base point to refer back to as needed.

Voyager. My favorite ship,ship class,crew,and favorite Star Trek series.
I doubt I could narrow a favorite crew member,but I can tell you that Jeri Ryan only really got hired because of her looks. That's my theory,although she is a terrific actress.Not many people can be 'Sybile'. (I don't know if anyone here is old enough to remember that show. I know I should not,but we had TV Land.) It took me time to like Kes.I'm not one to jump for joy for a goody goody,but like Mulgrew I was sad to see her go. Lt. Tom Paris is one of my top favorites! Doc was also a cool character.
Never did get into DS9 but I kinda wonder what would have happened if Voyager suddenly came home during the war. That would have been interesting.

Just imagine being safe in transwarp then when ya exit you're in the middle of the battle,shields down an everything. Janeway's a good captain,but I know I'd say Lt. Paris set course for the 2nd nearest starbase maximum warp!

I always got annoyed by Janeways voice also. No idea why.

Interesting you should say that because my ma don't like her voice either. I'm guessing though she sounds the way she does is because she inhaled 2nd hand cigarette smoke since she was an infant. We all know that they mess with your voice.

Hasn't messed with mine yet, and I get 1st hand smoke...

But I bet your voice had time to change and that ya had your own choice in smoking,and hopefully (even though in my opinion it's a waste of money and unhealthy.) ya started at the legal age. As in being an infant ya don't have that choice.

I was 14, but to be fair I have never smoked in my house and not in the car when the kids are in there...

How old was Janeway when she started smoking? With that voice she has to be a smoker.

She might smoke a pack or two a day. Nothing wimpy like Lights, she probally smokes Camel unfiltered.
