I work in retail and we are already getting set for Valentines Day. Suppose I should get my wife something...I am thinking roses.

I admit to feeling a little bit annoyed when I'm in a store and the Valentines Day displays start going up so soon. But I also realize that you guys really aren't to blame for that. It's your job. You pretty much have to get these things started as soon as you can. But roses? You should think outside the box. Try to come up with something out of the ordinary, something that tells her you're thinking about her personal likes and dislikes. |

I would also surprise her on no special occasion a few times with a gift or take her out to dinner, or something else she enjoys. |
