Haven't managed it quite yet.  Nearly to five months and I had a really stressful week. A relative offered me a cigar and I couldn't pass it up. So we start the countdown again. I'm sure you'll get it this time, sir. |

I went in for a physical last week, and the nurse asked if I was a smoker. I started to explain how I was cutting back, thinking I'd get a little encouragement, but she interupts and says, "There is only one answer to that question, Yes or No." and then launches into a tirade about the evils of smoking. I started to tell her if there's no difference between smoking once a month and smoking once every five months, I may as well not bother to quit.

I can't stand chewing gum. I've been eating a lot of almonds as Thallassa suggested, but it's getting harder to find unsalted almonds where I live.
