There was an interesting article in the September Penthouse about smokeless cigarettes. It seems that the two big causes of death from smoking... lung cancer and emphysema... have nothing to do with nicotene. They're caused by toxic chemicals in the burning tobacco. BUT... the article didn't mention that nicotene does contribute to high blood pressure, arteriousclerosis, and heart disease.

What about clove/or non-nicotine type smokes? Or would that just make you want the real thing? I've never tried any of those. It's not like I struggle with this every day. I can easily go a month or two no problem. But when I get stressed, I can't help thinking how relaxing a good cigar is, partly for the nicotene and partly just from the smoke itself. I think that a cigar every now and then for stress relief is okay. I just don't want to let it become a habit.

Good idea. I have the same trouble with dieting. Sometimes when you're feeling sad you just want to eat because you can't think of anything else to do. You need to find another way of letting off your tension.

An occasional cigar for stress relief is ok. Good luck.

Yeah, but as Thallassa says, it would be a good idea to find something healthier.
November 19th, two months and counting.

Family is always rough. What was it O'brien said? You chose your friends but family... that's in the stars!
