I have seen the series all the way through once, but I don't recall P'nar syndrome. I do remember she got addicted to some kind of emotion-enhancing drug once, for a very brief time before they dropped the idea.

I will buy the complete set when I go to the sandbox this fall, and watch them all.

I liked the show and I thought it was interesting how they dealt with the technology and the ship. Chuckled at how they perceived the transporter compared to the other show.

You know, McCoy always expressed doubts about the transporter in the Original, so it's reasonable to conclude that it was a relatively new technology even then. The logical outgrowth of this in "Enterprise" was to make it really new technology. Think about it -- would you try something like that unless it had been around a few years and ALL the bugs were out of it? That was one of the few good ideas in the Enterprise series. But once they needed it for the storyline, it didn't take long for them to get over their fears, I see.

To be fair, if it was a choice between, say, certain death aboard the ship, and possible death from a transporter malfunction, there's only really one logical choice if you're looking to live.

What do you think of T'Pol so far? The Syfy channel just started showing it again from "Broken Bow", and I had forgotten just how stiff she was at first. I sort of get the impression of the only adult in a ship full of children. (I speculated at the time I first saw it that Jolene Blalock probably took the role because she thought it wouldn't require too much acting ability. Boy, was she wrong.)

What do you think of it so far? As near as I remember, they hadn't started the "Xindi weapon" storyline, right?

Ah yes! That started off really well, but to my taste, it got dull after awhile. There are plenty of things to enjoy about it, though.

It does seem like they could have ended Xindi storyline in 3 episodes, instead of the half dozen it has been so far.
